This is a part time or full time position. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate pastry production and service for Dining Service menus and functions and to ensure the highest quality of food service is provided for residents, visitors, and staff. This position requires strong culinary/pastry skills with a proven history of sanitation and food quality.
Though desirable, this position does not require a candidate to hold a culinary degree, but must have been, as a minimum, graduated from an approved High School or received the equivalent with completing a program to receive a GED along with the appropriate level of Technical or Vocational Training. The Preferred candidate should be certified in Serve Safe, or comparable food safety/sanitation training.
