Givens Estates is seeking a part time Life Enrichment Assistant at the Givens Estates Health Center, an 84-Bed LTC facility. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Developing and implementing recreation therapy programs on a group or one-on-one level, maintain appropriate documentation as assigned, assist with publishing monthly newsletter, and aid in planning and leading outings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Preferred candidate should be a LRT/CTRS or qualified activity professional, or have worked in skilled nursing in similar settings. Must be able to work independently and able to work within a strong team setting. Must be supportive of the philosophy of animals within the nursing home, have a valid driver’s license for driving the bus for outings, have computer skills, documentation experience and work easily with volunteers.
